To use Bidgrid, simply set up your business profile, then respond to Bid Alert notifications sent to you, or log in to the website to check for new projects.
Projects that match your expertise are displayed on the first page you see when you log in. When you select a project name, you view a summary of the project’s complete details. All the information you need to pursue a job, including downloadable plans and documents, and access to a complete list of plan holders are at your fingertips.
Notifications are sent to you by email. These messages let you know when a project matches your work profile. You can set up multiple bid alerts based on different profiles and send alerts to others in your organization. You have full control of the alert notification frequency.
See an organized listing of projects that match your work profile. Able to quickly determine projects of interest and the critical dates requiring action. Click the project name for a complete summary and access to plans, contacts, plan holders, and tools to pursue the project.

Bidgrid provides access to electronic versions of project documents. Project plans and documents are organized by type and available for a quick review or download.
A list of the important project contacts. List includes owner representatives and the key project consultants. Individual roles and complete contact information is included.
You will be informed through the application when Bidgrid updates a project, but not interrupted with an email or text. A description of the change and impacted section will be provided.
This important feature shows you the plan holders and parties interested in the project and how they wish to participate or collaborate. You can post a specific message relating to each project for other plan holders to see. Complete plan holder contact information is provided so making contact is easy.
Divisions of Work are provided for every project. The industry standard MasterFormat® titles and numbers are presented in a structured format to help describe the scope of the project.

This tool provides valuable insight to the scope and scale of the project and helps you with constructing strategies to win the job. It also indicates how strong your expertise matches the project requirements.
This tool takes the Trades & Services feature to the extreme. Using this advanced technology tool, the key contractors and service provider types needed for the project can easily be found. Qualified contractors and service providers, both inside and outside of the Bidgrid network, are identified. Complete contact information is provided to make it easy for you to engage and collaborate on a project.
A stand-alone tool to find the most qualified contractors and service providers based on specific work activities. The system searches both inside and outside of the Bidgrid network and provides alternative supplier choices. We currently have over 15,000 work activity descriptions in the system.
The flag indicators are a simple way to manage the projects you are considering. Four colored-coded flags can be assigned to indicate interest. If you are interested in a project and select the green flag you will appear as a project plan holder to others inviting collaboration.
Your profile setup determines your search settings and can be updated anytime. You can add additional Profile Names with different attributes to broaden your reach or pursue specific strategies.
When you sign up, you’ll provide information detailing the services you offer. This information creates a profile in Bidgrid that helps match you to relevant projects. Your profile will only change if you modify your Company Profile.
After you sign up and log in, you arrive on the Projects Bidding page. This page displays all the projects matching your Profile Setting. If you have created additional profile names, you can view those search results by selecting the profile name in the search name box.
Click on the project name to review project details. The tabs across the top of the page direct you to specific information:
Summary
View a complete 1-page summary of the project details. Easy to decide if the project is a good fit and worth the time and effort to pursue.
Plans & Specs
Provides immediate access to view or download project plans and documents.
Plan Holders
Lists the plan holders and others who are interested in the project. Each listing shows the organization or individuals project interests and contact information. Use the contact information provided to call or email them directly.
Divisions of Work
Displays the project work activities as MasterFormat® numbers and titles. This help describe the scope of the project.
Trades & Services
Provides a list of the key contractors and industry service provider types required for the project. This tool provides valuable insight to the scope and scale of the project and helps you with constructing strategies to win the job. Updates
If a project is updated, the changes are indicated by this tab and include a brief description of the change.
If you decide to bid on a job, download the plans and project documents from the Plans & Specs page. If you have any questions about the project requirements, contact the individuals listed on the Project Contacts page. Assign a green interest flag to the project so your company will be added to the plan holder list for others to contact. You can also post a specific project message for other plan holders to see. To partner with contractors, suppliers, and industry resources, contact the project plan holders and use the Locate Resources or Find Contractors tool to find the resources you need.
